Irina
Silivanova and Maxim Puryzhinskiy, young Russian pianists, appear as a piano
duet for several years. They have already got recognition among the general
public.
Both musicians studied at the Moscow Conservatoire in the class of professor
Elena Richter. After graduating from the Conservatoire with distinction, they
followed the Post-graduate course. Their chamber ensemble professor was
Alexander Bonduryansky. During their studies in his class, they became the
winners of the International Chamber Ensemble Competition "Provincia di
Caltanissetta"; they also got prizes at the Taneev All-Russian Chamber Ensemble
Competition and the International Competition "Rome-2000".
Before entering Moscow Conservatoire Irina graduated from Kurgan Music College
(class of Ludmila Martynova). Maxim studied at the Academic Music College under
Moscow Conservatoire (class of Vera Horoshina).
The wide range of creative interests and the huge repertoire is one of the
distinctive features of this piano duet. They play music of various styles and
epochs. In their repertoire there are compositions for two pianos and a piano
for 4 hands by Bach, Mozart, Schubert, Grieg, Brahms, Saint-Saens, Ravel,
Debussy, Poulenc, J.Strauss, Mendelssohn, Dvorak, Lutoslavsky, Glinka,
Rachmaninov, aneev, Prokofiev, Schostakovich, Lyadov, Aram Hachaturjan, etc.
The piano duet's concert activity increases over the years: their performances
in concert halls of Moscow and Berlin, numerous concerts in cities of Russia,
always have great success and cause constant interest. It is necessary to note
Irina and Maxim's participation in the important musical festivals: Sergei
Rachmaninov festival in Tambov, Irina Archipova's festival on Seliger, "Evenings
in Monrepeau" in Vyborg.
It is possible to say simply: Irina and Maxim's duet is a combination of talent
and youth, high professionalism and virtuosity, rare harmony of soul and music.
