Victor Ginsburg - is a performer and piano professor, Honoured Artist of Russia. He was born in Moscow. He graduated from Moscow Conservatory in Iakov Milstein 's piano class. Since 1980 Victor Ginsburg has a piano class there,he held master classes in Russia, Turkey, Finland… Victor Ginsburg constantly gives concerts as a soloist and ensemble player with well-known musicians. He performed in such Russian cities as Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk and others, as well as abroad: in Austria, Finland, France, Germany, Turkey. The pianist held concerts in the halls of Moscow Conservatory, Tchaikovsky Hall, International Music House, in Saint-Petersburg Philharmonia, in the concert halls Bosendorfer (Vienna), Gasteig (Munich), Finlandia (Helsinki) etc. The chamber music is an important part of Victor Ginsburg's professional activities. It's worth noting his long collaboration with People's Artist of Russia Alexander Rudin. They have played and also recorded on CDs many famous and rarely performed works for cello and piano and for 2 pianos. It's also worth to mention here the retrospective tour of concerts played for a few years - "Remembering of Masters…" Victor Ginsburg's repertoire embraces wide and various styles of music. It includes the works of J.-S. Bach, W. A. Mozart, F. Schubert, R. Schumann, I. Brahms, C. Frank, F. Liszt, P. Tchaikovsky, S. Rachmaninov, C. Debussy, M. Ravel, B. Martinu, P. Hindemith, S. Prokofiev, R. Shchedrin, and other composers. The radio and television records include the pianist's works. His records were released under various labels in Russia and abroad. Among Victor Ginsburg`s solo programs a special attention is paid to the cycle of concerts - "The Masterpieces for all time…" The performing of Bach`s Goldberg Variations holds a special place in the pianist`s repertoire.
